1. INDIA GATE. The All India War Memorial, popularly known as India Gate, is located along the Rajpath in New Delhi. It is often compared to the Arc de Triomphe in France, the Gateway of India in Mumbai and the Arch of Constantine in Rome. This 42 meter tall historical structure was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and is one of the largest war memorials in the country. 2. RED FORT. Red Fort is a historic fort located in the national capital of New Delhi. Located in the center of the city, it was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty. It was built by Shah Jahan in 1638 as a result of the capital shift from Agra to Delhi. Apart from accommodating the emperors and their families, it was the formal and political center of the Mughal state and was established to severely influence the events in the region. Every year, the Indian Prime Minister hoists the national flag here on Independence Day.
3. QUTUB MINAR. Qutub Minar is the tallest tower in the world and the second tallest monument in Delhi. Listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Qutub Minar is located in Mehrauli which was started in 1192 by Qutub-ud-din-Aibak, the founder of Delhi Sultanate. Later, the tower was constructed by various rulers over the centuries. The view of this magnificent monument brings you to the rich history of India. Apart from the Qutub Minar, in the Qutub Complex, you will find many other ancient structures like Iron Pillar and Alai Darwaza.
4. JAMA MASJID. Located in the middle of central Delhi, Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in the country. It was an impressive collection of Shah Jahan's architectural undertakings, after the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort. Thousands of devotees arrive every morning to offer namaz on the auspicious occasion of Eid. With a capacity of twenty five thousand people in the courtyard, Jama Masjid is arguably the largest mosque in the country. Unfortunately, non-Muslims are not allowed inside the mosque during Namaz.

5. LOTUS TAMPLE. Located in New Delhi, Lotus Temple is dedicated to the Bahá'í Faith. The magnificent structure of this building is designed in the form of a magnificent white petal lotus and is one of the most visited establishments in the world. The design of this temple was conceptualized by Canadian architect Fariborz Sahba and completed in 1986.
